Food Pantry 

The McKinleyville Choice Pantry is open Monday through Friday from 10am until 3:15pm. We do not require appointments at this time. Please wait at the door for one of our team members to assist you.

Asthma Home Visiting Program 

This program is open to anyone who is uninsured or has Partnership of MediCal health insurance and an asthma diagnosis. Participants receive in home asthma education, mitigation assessment, and free asthma mitigation supplies such as dehumidifiers, air purifiers, allergy proof bedding, etc.

Parenting Classes

Our team is trained in the Parents as Teachers (PAT) program. PAT is based on a home visitation one-on-one approach, with the delivery of lessons within client check-ins.

Case Management 

We all need support sometimes. Our case management team is ready to assist your family in identifying strengths, goals, and opportunities for your family to get the support you want and need. Whether it is accessing clothes for school, nutritious food, mental health services, transportation assistance, or connections to social supports, our team is here for you.

CalFresh/MediCal Application Assistance

We are able to assist you with applying for CalFresh and MediCal. You are able to fill out an application and have an interview all in one day. We can also help with re-enrollment and other updates. To learn more about CalFresh or apply online, visit https://www.getcalfresh.org/ or C4Yourself.

Ama Tu Vecindad

Ama Tu Vecindad trabaja junto con familias de bajos recursos, hispanohablantes, para crear accesos a recursos, educación y apoyo que refleja las necesidades de cada famili  Ayudamos crear comunidad y conexiones con eventos, entrenamientos, y actividades que reflejan las necesidades e intereses de familias y su comunidad.

Ama Tu Vecindad works together with low-income, Spanish-speaking families to create access to resources, education and support that reflects the needs of each family. We help create community and connections with events, trainings, and activities that reflect the needs and interests of families and their community.

WIOA Step Up Program

Step Up is a workforce development program for young adults. Eligible 16-24 year olds can speak with or message Case Manager and Youth Program Operator Cass at (707) 630 - 2922 to learn about the program and what supportive services are offered. 

Family Art Night 

Join us the first Wednesday of each month from 5:00-6:00 PM for Family Art Night.

Parents Circle 

Every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:00, parents of children ages zero to one gather at the Family Re­source Center to support one an­other, share resources, and cele­brate successes. The group is facili­tated by Kit Boisvert Meyer, IBCLC.
