We all need support sometimes. Our case management team is ready to assist your family in identifying strengths, goals, and opportunities for your family to get the support you want and need. Whether it is accessing clothes for school, nutritious food, mental health services, transportation assistance, or connections to social supports, our team is here for you.
CalFresh/MediCal Application Assistance

Ama Tu Vecindad
Ama Tu Vecindad trabaja junto con familias de bajos recursos, hispanohablantes, para crear accesos a recursos, educación y apoyo que refleja las necesidades de cada famili Ayudamos crear comunidad y conexiones con eventos, entrenamientos, y actividades que reflejan las necesidades e intereses de familias y su comunidad.
Ama Tu Vecindad works together with low-income, Spanish-speaking families to create access to resources, education and support that reflects the needs of each family. We help create community and connections with events, trainings, and activities that reflect the needs and interests of families and their community.
Youth Workforce Development Cohort
Eligible 16-24 year olds can speak with or message our Youth Program Operator Cass at (707) 630 - 2922 to learn about the 12-week program and what supportive services and paid internships are offered.
Humboldt Income Program (HIP)
Humboldt's first Guaranteed Income Pilot Program will begin enrollment in December, 2023.
HIP provide direct payments of $920 for 18 months to 150 people, no strings attached. Payments will begin one month after program enrollment.
Applicants must be in first 28 weeks of pregancy, be over age 18, live in Humboldt County, and be at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level.
Enrollment begins December 1, 2023, and closes May 30, 2024. Participants must be referred by one of these referral partners:
- Open Door Community Health Centers
- Redwoods Rural Health Center
- United Indian Health Services
- Hoopa TANF
- CalWORKs Eligibility
- Providence Medical Group
- Programs of Providence St. Joseph Hospital Paso a Paso and CARE Network
- K:ima'w Medical Center
